us. We can get through them all as we Rejoice, in the Lord knowing
that Jesus is with us through it all.
The book of Philippians
is the 11th
book of the New Testament, 50th
book of the Bible, and contains 4 chapters. The author of the
book/epistle (letter) is Paul and it was written to the church of
Philippi. The purpose if the epistle was to present an appeal for
Christian unity. What we are to learn from the epistle is that unity
with Jesus brings us much joy.
We do not have to look very
far to see adversity everywhere, people are losing jobs, businesses,

Elliott Broidy of Markstone Capital Partners handed out gifts worth $1m to win $250m investment from N.Y. State pension fund.
The chairman of private equity fund Markstone Capital Partners, which centers its operations in Israel, has pleaded guilty to charges that he gave out close to $1 million in illegal gifts in order to secure a $250 million investment from the New York State pension fund.
Elliott Broidy has resigned all of his operational and supervisory roles at Markstone, and has been replaced as chairman by Dan Gillerman, the former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations and former chairman of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce.

Wooo... Cora made me a banner with my latest obsession. I figured it'd be nicer this way. ^.^ Kel Li gave me the idea, actually, to change my header image. Well, sorta.
Anyways, this theme is 'Masquerade'... And like this it shall stay until I think of a better theme. I think Carisa will be pleased with the change of colours. Tee hee... I thought of making a starry background, but then I thought better of it. First off, it'd be difficult to read, and secondly, I couldn't seem to find a nice background with tiny points of light.
But it doesn't matter. This is simple enough. :) And simple is good. For me. Especially when I have to crack my brain to figure out which HTML code is for what. :|
